  1. OLK6 series

    Like the OLK5 series, AFS's (Advanced Fibre Solutions Inc.) OLK6 series fibre optic test kits also offers a complete solution for the installer to test, terminate and troubleshoot a fibre optic system with the added capability to store 500 readings to a database that may be later downloaded to AFS's Cable Plant Reporter software for PC storage and Pass/Fail loss analysis. OLK6 series kits are designed for single-mode, multimode and POF applications. All kits include the Cable Plant Reporter software, USB cable, carrying case, one connector adapter, cleaning wipes, power adjustment tool and instructional manual.

  2. OLK5 series

    The OLK5 series test kits are the complete solution necessary for the installer to test, terminate and trouble shoot fibre-optic systems. These test kits are designed to allow testing of all parameters of fibre optic networks, including output power levels from the fibre, coupled source power and attenuation loss in a cable. Plastic Optical Fibre and VSCEL test kits are also available. The POF kits have modular adapters on both the meter and the 665nm/650nm output of the source.

  3. OP815 Insertion Loss Meter

    The OP815 was designed to measure insertion loss (IL) on fibre optic components quickly and accurately. Insertion loss is measured by utilizing the built-in, stabilized LASER or LED source in combination with the precision optical power meter. Using the OP815, dual wavelength insertion loss (IL) measurements are performed in less than one second. The OP815 supports the USB interface. The OPL-Pro turnkey application software fully integrates this instrument into the data acquisition process of an efficient production line.

  4. OP815-D Dual Channel (Duplex) Insertion Loss Meter

    The OP815-D was designed to measure insertion loss (IL) on duplex fibre optic components quickly and accurately. The insertion loss is measured by utilizing the built-in stabilized LASER or LED source in combination with the precision optical power meter. Both channels are measured simultaneously in less than one second. Like all other OptoTest equipment, the OP815-D is supported by a USB interface. The OPL-Pro turnkey application software fully integrates this instrument into the data acquisition process of an efficient production line.

  5. OP831 Bidirectional Insertion Loss Meter

    The OP831 is designed to perform bidirectional insertion loss measurements on single-fibre OR multi-fibre optic cables with optical switches. The integrated source and power meter together with the OPL-PRO application software allow for a fully automated bi-directional insertion loss analysis of the connected cable. This rack-mounted instrument can be equipped with either single wavelength or dual wavelength LASER or LED sources.

    • Streamlines and automates bidirectional insertion loss testing
    • On-board optical power meters feature relative accuracy of 0.02dB between 0dBm and -65dBm

  6. OP850 Multichannel Insertion Loss Meter

    The OP850 offers a very efficient solution for measuring insertion loss (IL) on multiple fibre cables or ribbon cables with MTP or MXC components. Insertion loss (IL) is quickly and accurately measured with the use of continuous wave (CW) sources in both single mode (SM) or multimode (MM) wavelengths combined with a highly repeatable optical switch. The system can be customized with multiple wavelengths and include between 4 and 24 channels.
