Fibre Optic Cable Selection Guide:

Jumper and Patchcord Cable -

• Designed for patchcords and pigtails.
• Riser Rated to comply with fire regulations.

Riser Breakout Cables -

• Used for building wiring applications
• Can be installed in walls, between floors and under data centre floors.
• Built to withstand the tensile stresses present during installation by the contractor or assembler.

Uni-Tube Indoor-Outdoor Loose Tube Cables -

• Gel filled central tube provides protection against water penetration.
• Dry, super absorbent polymers (SAPs) eliminate water migration in cable interstices
• Suitable for lashed aerial, duct, underground conduit and indoor riser applications.

Tight Buffered Internal External Grade -

• Cable comes directly in the building as far as needed for final termination providing improved reliability.
• Connectors assembled at the final patching centre, not at an inappropriate, hard to reach transition zone.
• The indoor / outdoor cable construction lends itself to a quicker termination process than conventional outdoor rated cable.
• The buffered fibres provide ample link protection and there is no injected gel to clear off prior to the termination process.
• Buffered fibres deliver reliability advantages over and above those derived at the termination of the fibres.
• Robust enough for long pulls, with adequate bend and crush protection for the most complex indoor configurations.

Indoor-Outdoor Loose Tube Cables -
