A low cost buffer stripping tool, often referred to as a 'Siemens' type stripping tool, is available for either 250µm coated loose tube fibres or 900µm tight buffered secondary coated fibres.

The tool is graduated so that the stop can be positioned precisely to give the required length of clean fibre.
