Norland Optical Adhesives are clear, colourless, one part adhesives that contain no solvents. When exposed to ultraviolet light, they gel in seconds and full cure in minutes to give a tough, resilient bond. These adhesives are designed for fast, precision bonding where low strain and optical clarity are required.
Norland manufactures a range of different types of optical adhesive for bonding glass, metal, plastic, ceramic and many other materials. These adhesives have long pot life because they only cure when exposed to long wave ultraviolet light.
This puts the user in complete control over the cure which simplifies any process that requires critical alignment or exact positioning.
