ST and SC Lightcrimp Connectors

AMP's LightCrimp ST and SC-style connectors are easy to use, epoxyless connectors. Cable preparation is carried out in the normal way, making sure the prep' lengths are correct against the template provided in the tool kit. The fibre is inserted into the connector and then crimped in place with a two step process using a dedicated crimp tool. The fibre spigot is then cleaved and the connector polished. The termination process takes less than 2 minutes. Polishing takes around 30 seconds.
