The 740L series cables are heavy duty loose tube cables for aerial applications and use in underground ducts.

The cables feature excellent protection from sustained loading and from impact. They are constructed with gel-filled colour coded loose tubes.

Kevlar strength members give the 740L series extra tensile strength to withstand mechanical pulling and other stress during installation and use.

The cables are of an all-dielectric construction and the interstices and Kevlar yarn are gel-flooded to provide extra water protection.

These cables have a wide operating temperature range and a proven excellent reliability in a wide range of installation environments.
The 740L series is available with up to 216 optical fibres. Each colour coded buffer tube can contain one, two, four, six, eight, ten or twelve colour coded optical fibres depending on the total number of fibres in the cable.
