900µm Diameter Buffer Tubing
The Lucent 900µm diameter buffer tubing is for use with 250µm coated fibres. This buffer tubing is designed for use in breaking out loose tube cables within a patch-panel or cabinet and allows direct termination of connectors, such as the STII directly on to the fibre end.
Sleeving the fibres to 900µm makes them more manageable
and reduces the possibility of fibre breakage during handling.
(Application note: after cleaning the fibre, wipe the fibre in
a tissue filled with talc - this will allow lengths up to 1 metre
or more to be easily inserted into the tubing).
