Hot Melt connectors are pre-loaded with adhesive, so there is no mixing of epoxy and no syringe required. Termination is easy; simply insert the connector into the oven, allow it to reach temperature while preparing the fibre end, remove the connector from the oven, fit the fibre and allow to cool before polishing. The Universal Hot Melt termination kit includes all the tools necessary for preparing and terminating the fibre, including the oven and a quality inspection microscope.
